At 10am on Thursday the 20th April we will mark ANZAC day with a special Centenary of ANZAC commemoration on the oval. It is quite amazing to think that our little school opened in the second last year of the first Great War. A new memorial has been built beside the PAC and it will be unveiled during the service.  The Mudgeeraba Light Horse and the Albert Battery will be in attendance. The Albert Battery will conduct the flag raising ceremony with a volley salute and at the conclusion of the formal service, the Light Horse will perform a tent pegging display. Three lone pine trees will be presented to the school in memory of three of our fallen soldiers, including one of our past pupils Private William Rosin. Parents are welcome to join us for this very special event.
