Student Leaders
Student Leaders are elected from the Year 7 students by pupils of Year 7 and the school staff. The Student Leaders represent the students at official functions and events and receive and welcome visitors.

Student Council
Eight representatives are elected by the students to be part of our Student Council. The four student leaders are also members of the Student Council. Meetings are held monthly with students involved in a number of school-based projects and activities

Sports Captains
One boy and one girl are chosen as captains for each house. The houses are named after the pioneering families of the Merrimac area.

Class Captains
A boy and girl class captain is elected each term in classes from Years 4 to 7. These children undertake various class responsibilities within their classes.
