IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

• JQ17 (SYD-KIX) has been cancelled due to a problem with the aircraft departing HNL (2/8)
• KES students and staff have been transferred to QF69 (BNE-CNS-NRT)
• KES students and staff will be advised on departure from Cairns to report to the QANTAS counter in Narita to be advised as to overnight accommodation - this cost will be met by Jetstar
• QF69 departed Brisbane at 10.40 a.m.
• QF69 wil depart Cairns at 1.25 p.m. and arrive at Narita at 8.00 p.m.
• KES students and staff will return to Kobe by shinkansen tomorrow Monday 4 August
• KES will advise parents as to the revised arrival and transport arrangements

The aircraft due to depart Sydney broke down in Honolulu.  This is unfortunate but it is better that it did not fly if their was a problem. Although the journey is longer and a little inconvenient KES students and staff will arrive home safe. 

KES students and staff had a fantastic week in Australia and return to your homes with many happy memories.  It has been great to host your children.
