Journal - Wednesday 30 July

Another cold morning but a glorious day with blue sky and sun.

Our students departed for Currumbin Sanctuary at 9.00 a.m. on two coaches.

They had a great day seeing lots of Australian animals including:

  • koalas
  • kangaroos
  • wombats
  • crocodiles
  • snakes
  • lizards
  • birds
  • dingos
  • emus

All students had their photo taken with a koala.

After school the students headed home with their buddies while the staff and IEC members participated in a mini olympics. The staff were divided into five groups or countries - Australia, Japan, India, Estonia and the United States.

Tomorrow is shopping in the morning, classroom integration and lessons in the afternoon and disco tomorrow night.
