Today started as a very cold day but the sun did shine and we had lots of blue sky.
This morning students visited Year 1 to make a koala mask, then Year 2 to make a boomerang and then Year 3 to make some glasses. Students enjoyed their first morning tea before going out to play with their buddies.
After their first break they participated in bush dancing with Year 5 learning the "Heel Toe Polka", "Stockyards" and "Macarena".
Katsuragi staff attended an Education Luncheon and met the Principal of Merrimac State High School and Caningeraba Primary School while IEC members attended a special luncheon.
After lunch students integrated into their buddy classes while KES teachers taught MSS students different Japanese lessons.
After school students headed back home to their home stay families while some IEC members and staff attended a planning meeting for the 2009 Exchange to Japan.
Tomorrow is supposed to be one of the coldest days on record. Yesterday some snow fell 1.5 hours from Merrimac. In the morning students will travel to Currumbin Sanctuary for a fun day seeing Australian wildlife.
