Journal - Thursday 18 September

Well we are now approaching the end of our National Capital Tour with just one way to go ...

Today was another fine and sunny day.

At 9.00 a.m. Bus 1 headed to Cockington Green while Bus 2 went to Old Parliament House. Both groups met at the Australian National Museum at 11.00 a.m.

Lunch was pizza at the Museum before both groups movedto the Australian War Memorial.

Tonight students are off to Zone 3 for some fun and games while I finish the website.

The kids are now starting to become a little jaded after a very busy week. I think a number of students wished they had taken our advice on Sunday to get to bed early to ensure they are well rested and ready to get the best out of each day. I am sure they will appreciate their beds on Friday night and will sleep until lunchtime on Saturday.

We have a few children with home sickness but they are working through this ... a good learning experience for them.

Enjoy the photos ... must run to get this uploaded and back to Eaglehawk to settle the first group of students when they return from Zone 3.

See you at Gold Coast Airport at 10.30 p.m. tomorrow night.
